No words can express how deeply shocked and saddened I am by the loss of James - a special friend indeed.

I will remember him by the times we spent together and the joy and laughter we shared.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

Deepest sympathy to all Jim's family from the children of his orchestra past and present at King David. It was a privilege to work with such a dedicated music teacher and lovely man. He taught me such a lot as a young teacher taking groups to festivals and hundreds of students will always treasure their memories of him and his contribution to their musical journey. RIP Jim.

What a truly lovely man James was; so kind, helpful, generous and humble. My daughter, Emma would not have achieved all she has in life without his unwavering support. James has died too soo but what a legacy he leaves, he will live on in so many hearts .
